While Dornet delivers Avery's curiosity and unbending character with grace. I advise giving in and binge-listening to this audible treat.

The way Amanda gave life to all these different characters, the way they speak and act, just made the story all the more interesting. Her voice helped me get immersed in the story even more as a reader. Not only does she sound really nice, she made the story even more engaging than it already is. When she changes her voice to switch to a new character, it's a wonder how she's able to give life and emotions to so many different people, to sound distinctly different each time she lends her voice to another person. Oftentimes, I'm in awe.

This is the first time where I've been  able to easily distinguish all the female characters without hearing their names.

Amanda Dolan reads the audiobook and she does a good job with the material. She reads with a steady pace and tries to make the story come alive by using different voices and accents. Her voices of both genders are realistic and not overdone. She puts a lot of personality into the reading and kept it interesting to me even when the world building went over my head at times.
